Die casting materials
The primary alloys used in die casting include lead, tin, copper, zinc, aluminum, and magnesium. We are able to create unique die-casting materials according to client specifications. The benefits of each alloy are summarized as follows:
Aluminum alloys: high strength-to-weight ratio, highly corrosion-resistant, excellent thermal conductivity, and recyclability, it is good for outdoor and marine applications. Common material will be ADC12, A380, A365,
Zinc: Compare to other metal alloys, Zamak is the easiest metal to cast; high ductility; high impact strength; easy to do plating surface finish; normally for small parts because the high material cost and high density; die lifetime will be more than aluminum die casting mold.
Magnesium: This is the lightest alloy in metal die casting industry, the easiest metal to manufacture, and has an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio,
Copper: It has the highest mechanical qualities of all die-cast alloys, including high hardness, good corrosion resistance, outstanding wear resistance, excellent dimensional stability, and strength that is comparable to rest of steel parts.

What kind of steel do you use to build the molds?
For die casting molds, we use 1.2343, 1.2344, 8407, for plastic injection molds, we use 1.2343. 1.2344. H13, P20, NAK80, etc., we can use brand of steel according to customer requirement, and we can provide the steel certificate to match your molds
What is lead time for die casting mold manufacturing?
Normally, lead time for the first samples will be 5-6 weeks, after that, we get the new sample we will send you for approval by DHL express, we will continuely provide you free samples until you satisfy the parts.
What type of CAD Files do you prefer for quote
IGS, STEP, X_T, PRT, DWG, STL, DXF, PDF etc. CAD formats are acceptable for us.
What is your payment term?
For export new mold, 40% deposit, 30% on first article, 30% before production or shipment. For local mold or die (we produce the parts for you at our factory), 50% at order, 30 after first sample, 20% once final samples are approval, For prototyping parts, 50% with order and rest 50% after parts delivered. For CNC machining parts, 50% with order, and rest 50% after parts delivered. For production, 50% with order and 50% after parts delivered.
Can you do surface finish service for die casting parts?
Yes, we offer surface finish for die casting, machinig parts, and plastic molding parts, those are including anodizing, powder coating, E-coating, chrome plating, sandblasting, water transfer painting, etc.
What type of material you can machine for CNC machining parts
For CNC machining parts we use material as below:
Plastics: PC, PA, POM, Teflon, ABS, etc.
Metals: AL6061, 6063, Carbon steel, stainless steel 304 or 302, copper, etc.
